EMILYSATTERLEE
PR&MARKETING

Emily Satterlee is proudly a product of the 90's, her bones constructed of Jewel, The Goo Goo Dolls, Ricky Lake, and Zach Morris. At the age of 17, Satterlee moved to California where she met a complicated boy and began writing songs for him. Turns out she was pretty slick at it. Anyway, after a while, she decided to help other musicians write songs too. Satterlee has worked with hundreds of songwriters throughout southern California giving lectures and hosting songwriting workshops. She's helped organize and judge singing competitions in dive bars - sort of like a filthy American Idol. Since 2012, Satterlee has worked in artist development receiving one-on-one guidance from numerous industry professionals like Damon Elliott, Michelle Lewis, Stephen Finer, and Marti Frederiksen.
Professionally, Satterlee wants to help other people become the best versions of themselves. She's unapologetically a self-help geek, watching a lot of TED talks on youtube and things like that. She's into exploring alternative ways of thinking, quantum mechanics, and higher dimensions too. She owns her own copy of 'What The Bleep Do We Know.' As a super secretive deep thinker, Satterlee says, "I’m very hard on myself and I expect a lot from other people as well."
Satterlee brings her professional marketing background to Salt Lamp City, spearheading artist development and project management.
